Al-Salam App Support
Al-Salam is the official app of Masjid Al-Salam in Brampton, also serving the Niagara Falls Islamic Center (NFIC) community. It shows daily prayer and iqama times, including Jumu‘ah, and announcements from the masjid, and offers a private prayer tracker, a qibla finder, adhkaar and a tasbih counter. It works without an account, and your worship data stays on your phone unless you choose to back it up.

Frequently asked questions
My sign-in code has not arrived
Signing in is optional; the app works fully without an account. If you asked for a code, check your spam or junk folder and make sure the email address was typed correctly. A minute after a code is sent, the app lets you ask for a new one. If it still does not arrive, email app@mpicbrampton.com and tell us the address you used.
The prayer times in the app differ from the board in the masjid
The app shows the masjid's published timetable and iqama times, and keeps a copy so it works offline. If the times were changed recently, open the app while connected to the internet so it can fetch the latest ones. In travel mode the app calculates times for your current location, so they will differ from the masjid's. If the times for the masjid still look wrong, email app@mpicbrampton.com; the board in the masjid is always the final word.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This removes your account and everything backed up with it from our servers. If you no longer have the app, use the account deletion page. Go to the account deletion page.
